School Choice Scholarship
The School Choice Scholarship (voucher) provides tuition support from the State of Indiana so parents may choose the educational setting that is best for their child’s needs. To be eligible for a School Choice Scholarship, students enrolling in kindergarten through grade twelve, must meet one of the seven “Tracks to Eligibility” and also meet the specified “Income Eligibility Guidelines”. See these guidelines below.
The School Choice Scholarship application process will begin March 1, 2023, and the application deadline will be September 1, 2023. In order to qualify, a student must first be registered and accepted at Flaget Elementary. Once accepted, if you believe your student will qualify, you can submit your 2022 tax return for review.
Application Process
If you meet ONE of the Tracks to Eligibility AND you meet the specified Income Guideline, contact us for an application. We will submit the application to the State of Indiana Department of Education and notify you of your acceptance. Should there be more applicants in a particular grade level than what our class size can hold, a lottery, in accordance with the State of Indiana’s guidelines, will be held on June 1st to determine who receives the Choice Scholarship Awards.
